Hi, I'm Matt and I'm running to be Alder of Stevens Point's 10th District! I'm 24 and I'm currently an IT Support Engineer. My backround is mainly in IT and customer service. I've been IT for the past 3 years and prior to that I was working in a call center. 

In my day job I'm often solving new and interesting problems while taking into account many stakeholders who have differing needs and priorities. I love learning new things and I'm always looking for ways we can make peoples lives better. 

If elected to city council I will prioritize modernizing our zoning code to encourage more diverse and affordable housing options. Residents should be able to easily find a home that fits their life and doesn't break the bank.

I also plan to make the city more transparent with residents so people can easily follow what is happening with city government, why decisions are being made, and how/when you can voice your opinion. 

I hope I can earn your vote in the primary on Feb 17th and again on April 7th!
